The internet holds a ton of resources. We will try to go through some of the FREE marketing resources that you can use to increase the ranking and traffic of your website.

• CraigsList.org - Has grown to one of the largest FREE (and paid) resources on the internet for classified ads. For the purpose of cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, etc... it is free to post items for sale. Our websites have a built-in feature that allows you to take any vehicle in your inventory and stylized page layout for use on CraigsList. This reduces the retyping of descriptions, re-uploading of photos and creates links back to your site for users to get more information. CraigsList also provides targeted ads since you post your ad in your location. Perfect for selling cars.
• Vast.com - Vast is a leading search provider for Cars, Real Estate and Travel. They also supply data to a network of sites that average 8 million visitors per month. They supply data to AOL Autos, Overstock.com, MyRide, AutoMedia, ImpreMedia, CarDomain and many others. Your vehicle listings will automatically be added to the Vast network for distribution, just maintain your website and listings will be gathered weekly.
• Oodle.com - Similar to Vast.com but offers a larger range of shopping categories. You can access their site and list individual items. We are currently building RSS feed support to automatically send your inventory to the Oodle classified sites. They claim 5 million visitors a month across sites like the New York Post, portals such as Lycos and online communities such as Military.com.
• Google Base Products - Google's own internal database for shopping. While still in the Beta stage of development you can add your vehicles by uploading a file to Google to parse. Listings are active for 45 days or until a new file is uploaded. You can export your inventory completely formated and ready for upload to Google Base with your Factory51 auto dealer website. All you need is a FREE Google account.
• VFlyer - vFlyer is a classified ad creation, management and submission tool that enables online sellers to quickly and easily create attractive classified ads or as you guessed - "virtual flyers" - that can be posted on dozens of leading online marketplaces in a few simple clicks. The vFlyer goal is make classified ads as easy and effective as possible for individuals and businesses selling online.
  While we don't recommend using vFlyer for all your vehicle listings, we have found them to be most effective with those special or custom vehicles. Using vFlyer is another resource that can help drive more traffic to your website.
• Your Website - How? Creating original descriptions for your vehicles. Google, along with other search engines love original content. When creating a description for your vehicle add in the Make and Model when you talk about it. Like... "This 1999 Honda Civic is equipped with a power sunroof, CD changer and remote access. With it's 4-cylinder engine this Civic gets great gas mileage. ..." You will automatically find you vehicles ranking high for make model and location, adding additional copy helps boost your rankings even more.
